Gorgonzola speaks English


From 17 to 19 June, our London friends have had the opportunity to taste the best Italian products at the event Bellavita, held at the Business Design Centre, in Islington. The four Protection Consortia for the Asiago, Gorgonzola, Pecorino Sardo and Taleggio cheeses exhibited at the show together, as part of Formaggi Italiani DOP (Italian PDO Cheeses), the project financed by the Italian Ministry for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies with the objective of promoting the high quality of these cheeses, their production tradition and the various geographical areas of which they are the expression. In 2017, the English consumed as many as 41,000 tons of Italian cheeses (+16% compared to the previous year).
