Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulation”), below please find information on the handling of personal data submitted to Consorzio per la Tutela del Formaggio Gorgonzola (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) by their customers.

LEGAL GROUNDS FOR DATA PROCESSING
The personal data submitted to the Company shall be processed in the performance of the activities arising from the execution of the existing contracts.
TYPES OF DATA BEING HANDLED AND PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
The personal data being handled only refer to and are useful for the performance of the existing contracts agreed upon with the Company.
During their ordinary course of operation, the IT systems and software procedures required to run our website acquire certain personal data, whose transfer is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by the users who visit the site, as well as the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply from the server (done, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and the IT environment of the user.
These data are required to use the Web services and are also processed for the following purposes:
- Obtaining statistical information on the use of Web services (most visited webpages, number of daily visitors or in certain time slots, relevant geographical areas etc.);
- Monitoring the proper operation of the services being provided.
Browsing data are not held for longer than seven days and are immediately cancelled after collection (unless otherwise required in the course of crime investigations by the judicial authority).
Cookies and Other Tracking Systems
This website does not use any cookies for user profiling or any other tracking systems.
However, the website uses non-persistent session cookies but their use is strictly limited insofar as required for safe, effective website browsing. Session cookie retention in computers or browsers is controlled by users, whereas cookie information is recorded in server service logs at the end of HTTP sessions; however, it is stored for no longer than seven days, like any other browsing data.
The collected personal data are also handled by Company personnel, operating as specifically instructed on data processing purposes and procedures.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Data subjects shall be entitled to obtain access to and amendment or cancellation of their personal data, oppose or limit the relevant processing by requesting the Company accordingly, in the cases contemplated by Art. 15 and foll. of the Regulation. The relevant claim can be submitted to the Authority by contacting the Data Controller via the contact references listed above.
RIGHT TO CLAIM
Any data subjects who believe that the handling of their personal data through this Website is in breach of Regulation provisions can put forward a claim to the Data Protection Authority, pursuant to Art. 77 of the aforesaid Regulation, or start legal proceedings as appropriate (Art. 79 of the Regulation).
