Ballarini spa was founded in 1954 by Gianni Ballarini and immediately became a promoter of sweet and spicy Gorgonzola PDO in foreign markets, thanks to the business skills of CEO Flavio Pak and through development with new packaging systems that have enabled Gorgonzola to reach the world’s major markets.
Skill and craftsmanship in aging have made Ballarini Gorgonzola a hit with many distributors of Italian products in the major countries of the European Union.
The company was completely restructured between 2003 and 2005; in 2006, given the very high quality of the Gorgonzola that has always been aged in the Ballarini dairy, the company was purchased by the Igor Group.
