CLIN was founded in 1967 as “Cooperativa agricola produttori Latte Indenne Novara” with the purpose of placing members’ milk and later producing Gorgonzola through the construction of a dairy in Casalino.
Since the 1970s CLIN has been among the first companies to develop the production of spicy Gorgonzola for export to the UK and USA, thanks to the traceability of the milk farms, the quality of the product, a futuristic dairy for those years and skilled workers. Today the dairy produces about 800 wheels per day of Gorgonzola Dolce e Piccante PDO with very high quality and microbiological standards.
CLIN is a wholly owned subsidiary of IGOR: the working group-led by the same cheesemaker as in the past-has been kept unchanged, and exports around the world have been strongly developed.
