Exports 2018: Gorgonzola PDO – constant growth since 2010

Gorgonzola PDO exports once again are positive. 1,750 ,000 wheels (21,007 tons) have crossed the national border in 2018, with a 2.4% increase compared to the previous year. GorgonzolaPDO exports are constantly growing since 2010. The EU absorbed 86% of the exported product, equal to over 1,512,000 wheels, while export to the rest of the world increased by 13% (238,166 wheels). The most performing countries have been Germany, France, Spain, UK and the Netherlands. The first non-EU country is Japan, with about 42,000 wheels, followed by the US with 36,812 wheels.
