Gorgonzola Pdo production as of 06/30/2023 stands at 2,520,741 wheels, an increase of 109,484 wheels (+4.54%) over the previous year and 37,205 wheels (+1.50%) over 2021.
Also positive is the figure on exports, the survey of which stops at the first quarter of the year, with 6,323 tons exported as of 03/31/2023, up 1.15% compared to the same period of the previous year. Of these, 5,454 tons reached intra-EU countries, registering an increase of 0.8% over 2022, while the remainder flew to the rest of the world (+3.1%).
Gorgonzola Pdo is thus confirmed as one of the most beloved dairy products in Italy and abroad.
