Great success of Consortium Gorgonzola at Cibus 2021

Cibus 2021, the first exhibition dedicated to food and wine in attendance, closed its doors with a positive balance. 38,000 visitors, of whom 2,000 from abroad, as well as journalists and bloggers, came back to the pavilions of the Parma Fair, stopping also at the stand of the Consorzio Gorgonzola.

CIBUS was chosen to present the new recipe book that offers 25 new recipes, dishes that come from Italian tradition but also from around the world such as Spanish paella, Hawaiian poke, French crêpes or English bagels, demonstrating the great versatility and international character of Gorgonzola PDO, the third Italian PDO cheese among those produced with cow’s milk.

At Cibus, the Consorzio Gorgonzola also received two Tespi Awards for creativity in the Cheese category for commercials (Best radio commercial and Best new media campaign), created by the agency Metrix Communication, which rewarded the commitment to promoting Gorgonzola PDO cheese both nationally and internationally.

The more than positive experiment at Cibus also bodes well for the next international trade fair, which will see the Consorzio Gorgonzola involved in Anuga in Cologne, from 9 to 13 October 2021.
