The Consortium at TUTTOFOOD 2017

The Consortium for the Protection of Gorgonzola Dop Cheese will be one of 2000 exhibitors at TUTTOFOOD. With a total of 5 editions and well 78,500 agro-food operators from around the world only in 2015, the event organized every two years by Fiera Milano is one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to B2B in Italy.

The Consortium Gorgonzola will have an important presence. A renovated and expanded stand entirely dedicated to the promotion activities of Gorgonzola Dop. There will be an area dedicated to the commercial meetings of the producers and an area dedicated to events with the great chefs.

The  main attraction will be the open kitchen for the visitors of the fair that will be surprised by the unusual creations of the chef; their task, is to combine the strong flavors of a typically northern product, such as Gorgonzola cheese, to products originating from two regions, Basilicata and Sicily, pearls of southern Italy. A very nice association that will surely be appreciated by the passionates of cooking who visit the stand. Great news of this edition, the showcooking will be streamed on the Consortium’s web channels.

Schedule

The showcooking will be held on every day at 10.30 am and at 15.00 pm (May 11 only in the morning)

  • May 8: Gianpiero Cravero presents the Gorgonzola Dop in association with the Rotonda Red Eggplant (Dop) and the Rotonda White Bean (Dop)
  • May 9: Antonino Cannavacciuolo presents an exclusive recipe for the Consortium Gorgonzola
  • May 10: Gianpiero Cravero presents the Gorgonzola Dop in association with the Igp Pachino Tomato
  • May 11 (morning only): Gianpiero Cravero presents the Gorgonzola Dop in association with the Red Orange of Sicily IGP
