Baked onions stuffed with minced meat and Gorgonzola PDO


  1. Peel 4 large onions and boil them whole in plenty salted water with a tablespoon of vinegar for 40 minutes. Cut off the upper cap and hollow out the inside. Chop and keep aside.
  2. Meanwhile, cook 150 g minced beef with a tablespoon of EVO oil. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the meat into a bowl and add 1 egg, the chopped onion, thyme and mix. Add 100g Gorgonzola Pdo and continue stirring.
  3. Transfer the onions to a baking tray and fill them with the mixture. Garnish with another 20g Gorgonzola Pdo, a drizzle of oil and black pepper.
  4. Bake in the oven at 200° for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
