Baked potatoes with Gorgonzola PDO sauce

Ingredients

  • Leftover baked potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Breadcrumbs
  • 300 g Gorgonzola PDO
  • Fresh thyme
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Evo oil

Preparation

  1. Start preparing the Gorgonzola PDO sauce.
  2. In a saucepan add the cream and the pieces of Gorgonzola PDO.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and cook over medium heat for approx. 10 minutes.
  4. Once the texture is thick, remove from the heat and set aside.
  5. Put the leftover baked potatoes on an oiled baking tray, add the Gorgonzola PDO sauce, sprinkle the breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Preheat the oven on grill mode and cook for 5/10 minutes, until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  7. Serve the potatoes hot, and garnish with fresh thyme.
