Rye bread, Gorgonzola PDO, marmalade and thyme with non-alcoholic cocktail pairing

Christmas recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g Gorgonzola PDO
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 2 tablespoons marmalade
  • Thyme

For the cocktail:

  • 1 red bitter
  • Ice
  • 5 cl tangerine juice
  • 2 slices ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Tangerine peel for garnish

Preparation

  1. Start by preparing bruschettas.
  2. Toast the rye bread on both sides and then cut it in half.
  3. Garnish each slice with Gorgonzola PDO, a teaspoon of marmalade and garnish with a sprig of thyme.
  4. Place them on a serving plate and set aside.
  5. For the cocktail, crush the ginger slices with the mandarin juice and sugar using a pestle on the bottom of a glass.
  6. Add the ice, red bitter and stir well.
  7. Garnish with tangerine peel.
  8. Serve the croutons with the cocktail.
