Consortium Gorgonzola participated in Tuttofood 2023 by putting the product’s unique characteristics at the center. During the fair, students at the State Vocational Institute “G. Ravizza” of Novara tried their hand at preparing an unprecedented menu designed for all generations – Boomers, Gen Z and Millenials – protagonists in the new 2022-23 communication campaign, who together form Generation G, the one that brings everyone together under the sign of Gorgonzola Pdo!
Here are the dishes made, greatly appreciated by the many visitors:
BOOMER STARTER
For those who love good old-fashioned recipes but with an extra touch of creativity
Focaccia garnished with double Gorgonzola Pdo, pear compote, and thyme in baking-oil
GEN Z FIRST COURSE

MILLENNIALS SECOND COURSE

Antonio Auricchio, President of the Consortium for the Protection of Gorgonzola Pdo Cheese, said, “Our product, present in as many as 87 countries around the world, is an ambassador of Made in Italy. In 2022, foreign markets recorded growth in both volume (+1.9% over the previous year) and value (+16.4% or about 178 million euros), and the trend continued to be positive at the beginning of this year. Certainly abroad, more than in Italy, we have to face the unfair competition of Italian Sounding, and I firmly believe that, in addition to bilateral agreements, it is essential to focus on publicizing the very high quality of our product. Gorgonzola has no equal, and international events like Tuttofood are essential to let foreign operators taste its unique goodness in person.”
Promoting Gorgonzola Pdo in Italy and abroad will continue with Summer Fancy Food in New York (June 25-27) and Anuga in Cologne (October 7-11), also in collaboration with other Italian cheese consortia.
