In 2026, the Protection Consortium is once again preparing to take part in major international trade fairs to promote Gorgonzola Pdo to foreign buyers and consumers.
The Consortium has just successfully participated in Foodex in Tokyo, a remarkable opportunity for commercial promotion at a time when Gorgonzola imports exceed €4 million in value in the Asian market.
The Consortium will also be participating in Tuttofood, Italy’s leading agri-food trade fair, scheduled to take place in Milan from May 11 to 14, with its own stand offering product tastings and meetings between consortium members and industry operators.
Once again, this year, from June 28 to 30, the Consortium will be attending the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York, an unmissable event dedicated to food in the USA. Gorgonzola Pdo will be on display at the Italian Pavilion, the largest exhibition space in the international area of the fair, which, as usual, will present the entire range of Italian food products.
Finally, the year will end in Paris with Sial (October 17-21), which will bring together producers, distributors, and restaurateurs in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. The Gorgonzola Consortium will participate as part of the AFIDOP collective, the Italian Association of PDO Cheeses.
