The cheese world gathers in Bergamo, a city in Lombardy that boasts the European record of dairy PDOs: 9 out of 50 national PDOs are produced in the province of Bergamo. The fourth edition of “Forme” will be held from 17 to 20 October and the Gorgonzola Consortium will participate in a collective stand together with the Consortia of Taleggio, Quartirolo, Salva Cremasco and Montasio. During the event, the chef Gianpiero Cravero will be using those 5 cheeses to create the tastings offered to the visitors. On Friday, October 18, during this event, the “World Cheese Award” will be granted to the best cheese in the world.
