CROSSMEDIA FALL CAMPAIGN FOR GORGONZOLA PDO, THE WORLD’S MOST SEARCHED-FOR CHEESE ONLINE

The Consortium for the Protection of Gorgonzola Pdo Cheese will launch its new 2026 cross-media communication campaign on August 31. The campaign will be structured in several phases, featuring the broadcast of an institutional TV commercial on Italian media and, in parallel, international influencers and content marketing initiatives to further promote Gorgonzola Pdo, which, according to official data from Google Italy, is the most-searched-for cheese globally.

Specifically, the strategy aims to strengthen the brand awareness of Gorgonzola Pdo cheese in the domestic market through a single-publisher partnership involving Publitalia and its flagship networks—which will carry the bulk of the advertising (Canale 5, Rete 4, Italia 1)—as well as the publisher’s specialty channels. The task of proposing original recipes and providing in-depth coverage of the product and its properties will, however, be entrusted by the Consortium to several influential European publishers, including Il Cucchiaio d’argento—a proven collaboration that this year will involve the creation of six dishes—the German publication FoodBoom and the French publication Le Monde.

The Gorgonzola Consortium will continue its innovative communication strategy, which has successfully managed major international social media channels for several years to maximize visibility and engagement on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. As one of the few Pdo products with an online presence spanning eleven different languages and countries (including not only Italy but also Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Japan, South Korea, and the Netherlands)—for both its official website and social media pages, the Consortium will once again create engaging reels, videos, and stories for the Fall/Winter 2026 season to reinforce Gorgonzola Pdo’s positioning as a versatile, unique, and Italian ingredient. This year’s selection of talent was based on performance and content quality from previous campaigns. It will feature Federico Fusca (@federicofusca) and Valentina Cutaia (@friggitrice_ad_aria) for Italy, Achim Oecal (@kitchenachim) for Germany, the French creator and nutritionist Ysaline Benakli (@ysalinediet), the British influencer Amy Sheppard (@amysheppardfood), and the Spanish chef Roberto Bosquet (@ChefBosquet). “Pop chef” Federico Fusca will also be tasked with creating the 2026 Christmas dish, following last year’s huge success.

For fall 2026 as well, therefore, the Consortium is adopting an authoritative and creative communication strategy, striking a constant balance between media coverage and the quality of the message, capable of showcasing Gorgonzola Pdo as a unique and inimitable “Made in Italy” product.
