The Consortium for the Protection of Gorgonzola Pdo Cheese will be on time for the new edition of Anuga, in Cologne scheduled for October 7-11.
The international trade fair, which takes place every two years in Germany, will have sustainable growth as its theme this year with an emphasis on the food sector’s solutions to environmental and climate-related issues. These issues will be discussed in particular as part of the program of events and conferences planned during the fair.
Gorgonzola Pdo will “team up” with four other excellent Italian Pdo cheeses: Asiago, Grana Padano, Mozzarella di Bufala Campana and Taleggio. The products will be told in their uniqueness, but also through recipes created for the occasion by the German delegation of the Italian Federation of Chefs. They will be interpreted by a chef known in the German territory who will also be joined by an expert communicator and a sommelier for the best wine-cheese pairings.
