According to the Consortium’s monthly update, the production of Gorgonzola Pdo as of October 31, 2025, is 4,443,866 wheels, an increase of 79,554 wheels (+1.82%) compared to the previous year and an increase of 156,762 wheels (+3.66%) compared to 2023.
Total monthly production in October alone was 509,766 wheels, an increase of 1.12% compared to the same month last year. Of these, just over 10% were of the Spicy type (51,488 wheels). Looking at the production figures for the two consortium regions in more detail, 369,333 wheels of Gorgonzola Pdo were produced in Piedmont in October 2025, while in Lombardy, monthly production stood at 140,433 wheels.
