SIAL 2026: THE GORGONZOLA CONSORTIUM IN PARIS WITH AFIDOP… AND A SPECIAL EVENT!

The Gorgonzola Consortium is set to participate in the upcoming edition of SIAL, scheduled to take place in Paris from October 17 to 21, 2026, at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center. This will be a significant edition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the French International Food Exhibition, one of the most prestigious in Europe.

At the booth (Hall 7 B161), under the banner of the AFIDOP collective (Association of Italian DOP Cheeses), Italian-French chef Carla Ferrari will oversee the tasting sessions on October 18, 19, and 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. At the same time, French influencer Alexandre (@alexcook.in) will present simple and hearty recipes for everyday cooking to his social media audience, alternating between sweet and savory dishes that highlight seasonal produce, and draw inspiration from street food and the great classics of Italian cuisine.

The French have once again proven themselves, even in this first part of 2026, as the leading connoisseurs of Gorgonzola Pdo within the European Union, with over 210,000 wheels imported as of May 31. For this reason, the collective of certified Italian cheeses will enhance its presence in Paris with an extraordinary event in the heart of the capital. On the evening of October 19, at Le Cœur Sacré—a charming venue in the heart of Montmartre—members of the press, influencers, and industry professionals will be “transported” to Italy through an experiential journey that will recreate the atmosphere and flavors of an authentic Italian moment. Tastings, storytelling, and moments of conviviality will highlight the heritage and regions of origin of our finest cheeses, thanks in part to interactive activities inspired by Italian lifestyle and cuisine. Serving as masters of ceremony will be PIERRE & GABRIELE, the Italian-French duo who founded the “Living Cheese Museum”; they will guide guests through the cheese bar set up for the occasion, while Chef Carla Ferrari herself will present a show-cooking demonstration featuring twenty-two Italian cheeses as the stars of 11 French culinary classics. Gorgonzola Pdo will enhance a delicious crispy buckwheat crêpe—, Gorgonzola Pdo, roasted figs, and a turnip greens and celery salad.
