Baked bread cake with Gorgonzola Pdo


  • 200 g Gorgonzola Pdo
  • 300 g sliced tomatoes from the day before
  • 1/2 loaf of bread
  • 50 g olives
  • 60 g flour
  • 60 g butter
  • 500 ml whole milk
  • evo oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • basil
  • thyme


  1. Start by preparing the Gorgonzola Pdo béchamel sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan and then add the flour. Stir well, avoiding the formation of lumps.
  2. Add the milk a little at a time and stir until thickened. Add the Gorgonzola Pdo and let it melt. Set aside.
  3. Cut the loaf of bread into slices about 1 cm thick.
  4. Pour a spoonful of béchamel sauce into a baking dish and spread it over the base. Alternate bread slices with tomato slices until you run out of ingredients. Top with the Gorgonzola Pdo béchamel sauce and garnish with the olives, pepper, thyme and fresh basil.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 20 minutes.
