Baruffaldi was founded as an artisan business at the beginning of the last century, when great-grandfather Angelo, who came from Valsassina, decided to settle in the province of Novara, an area with a vocation for Gorgonzola production.
Thanks to the experience gained in more than 100 years of activity, (today we are in the fourth generation) and the impetus given by the father Angelo in the 60s and 70s, the Company has achieved a constant and significant development, until it became an important reality in the dairy sector, especially in the production of Gorgonzola with Protected Designation of Origin; preserving and maintaining the initial characteristics of an artisanal enterprise with high quality standards.
The company is currently ISO 22000, IFS and BRC certified.
