Our company is part of the Nuova Castelli Spa group based in Reggio Emilia.
We produce Gorgonzola PDO sweet type and spicy type, mainly for New Castles but also for a small local clientele. Our production is traditional, the processing method is the “old-fashioned” one, the whole production process, apart from pasteurization, is entrusted to expert cheesemakers who work with care, dedication and experience gained over the years.
Our product is also highly appreciated abroad, especially in England Germany France and in recent years also in Russia. We have been BRC and IFS certified for 16 years now, which allows us to offer, even to the most demanding customers, a certain guarantee of the quality and safety of our products. We also produce a small amount of Gorgonzola with organic milk and therefore, the entire production chain from milk is controlled and certified by the control body Icea.
